Formal statement to Chechen government about its anti-LGBT human rights abuses

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Various reports have claimed that the Chechen government is holding homosexual and bisexual men in prison camps, holding them in inhumane conditions and conducting torture contrary to Article 5 of UDHR and the United Nations Convention Against Torture.
As well as this, a Chechen government spokesperson denied any existence of homosexual and bisexual people in Chechnya and overlooked and found no issue with families disowning and murdering gay members of family. This is in controversy to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its message as well as proclaimed values of the people of the United Kingdom and world.
