What the petition asks
Today the Tory government has announced that there will be a General Election in June 2017.
I believe that it is my right to vote in this election as I would have turned 18 years of age before the next general election in 2019. I know that I am not the only young person with this point of view. Younger people are a demographic who have very little representation in Parliament. We feel like our voices should be heard in this election as it is our future ahead of us.
