Rejected

What the petition asks
The law states cannabis has no medicinal value. Science has shown cannabis has a vast medicinal profile and can help with a plethora of health problems. Humans have an endocannabinoid system with autoregulatory homeostatic mechanisms. Cannabinoids are fundamental for protection and maintenance.
There is no scientific justification for the current scheduling of cannabis and hemp in the 1971 drugs act, the law violates the right to the highest attainable standard of health. The Government must repeal the law to allow people to obtain this fundamental supplement forthwith. Cannabis is available in 29 states of America,Spain,Holland,Canada,Portugal, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_cannabis_by_country
