What the petition asks
Most crisp brands that can be found on the shelves of Britain's supermarkets today are often full of air, despite looking full.
It is not fair that people pay so much for a quarter of a bag of crisps and as a student it is forcing me into poverty.

According to researchers for CDA, most major brands of crisps take up 50% or more air per packet. The popular McCoys brand contains 59%. The PopChips brand was found to contain up to 72% of air compared to crisps.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. This is a decision for crisp manufacturers, not the UK Government or Parliament.
