Stop Wales and Scotland creating sanctuary cities that bypass UK immigration law

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Calling on the UK government to oppose and stop all attempts by the Welsh and Scottish governments to create so called sanctuary cities.

Asylum seekers and migrants must register in the first safe country
they reach, as per the Dublin agreement, which is not Wales or Scotland.
Asylum seekers and migrants must register in the first safe country they reach, as per the Dublin agreement, and in line with
international law. This is clearly not in Wales or Scotland.

Devolved administrations must abide by UK immigration laws and not
be aloud to circumvent them. After what happened in Parsons Green
there is too much of a terror risk to bring these migrants in.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
