What the petition asks
Proposal for amendment to Section 170 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, subsection (1)(a)(ii) to include cats to the definition of the term “animal” in subsection 8. This will make it a legal requirement for the driver to persue the critical steps to reporting damage/death to an animal including cats.
