Make not wearing a helmet on a bicycle a criminal offence
Rejected

What the petition asks
People, especially kids, feel peer pressured into not wearing helmets when on a bicycle as they think it's cool but if they fall off it, there is a chance they could suffer from a head injury. This costs the ambulance service, the NHS for the treatment all because of a decision not to wear protection
More on the NHS,as we know it is in a budget crisis. If we wear a helmet, it could save the NHS spendings, save the impact on the emergency services, save the economy and most importantly save yourself!
