What the petition asks
nearly everyone I know that has a child says that it causes unnecessary stress and arguments for both the child and parents, I have even had a teacher tell me that she really cannot see the benefit of homework, especially after the ructions that it causes before they actually start
there is no evidence that a child benefits from this, however it does cause, stress, anxiety, animosity, arguments, low self esteem , and lots of other countries adopt this policy, the UK are well down in the education compared to the rest of the civilised world, could this be why? kids may actually enjoy school more if they wasn't doing loads of school work at home as well and had a home life PLEASE LET OUR CHILDREN HAVE FREE TIME AFTER A FULL DAYS EDUCATION, AND GIVE FAMILIES THE TIME
