Issue British passports now and exchange those with EU logos for small fee.

What the petition asks
Holding a passport with an EU logo passport for 10 years or more after we voted out of the EU is unacceptable to the majority. A passport renewed in the next 12 months means that the holder will be carrying around a passport with an EU logo for some 12 years after the Brexit vote on 23 June 2016.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We're not sure exactly what you mean by "issue British passports". British passports are currently being issued.
You could start a petition calling on the Government to give people the option to exchange a passport with an EU logo for one without an EU logo, for a small fee, as soon as the UK leaves the EU.
