Discuss vet fees

What the petition asks
How can Vetrinarians profit off people's emotions and charge excessive fees in the time of the pet owners distress.
Emergency vet fees costing £702 for a drip, blood test and scan with 5 hours care is ridiculous then charging £1500 to sterilise when any other time it would cost on average £100.
To charge excessive fees in the time of owners distress is so wrong, it's like blackmailing the owners in the time of need which is wrong.

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
The choice about what prices to charge is the responsibility of vets, not the Government or Parliament, so we're not sure what action you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
