What the petition asks
proven that universal credit is not working with people being in severe rent arrears and suffering poverty while waiting for first payments make a benefit that is paid weekly justifiable and fair instead of discriminating against the poor
where universal credit has already been rolled out it is proven that claimants are in at least £600 rent arrears while waiting for 6 weeks before payment is made make the payments weekly at least or a benefit that is fair
