What the petition asks
I have been a care worker in the private sector for ten years the work is very rewarding that is why we do this job. Over the years the increase in the severity of the mental health of people we are looking after has dramatically changed. It’s a very hard job and it’s about time this was recognised
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure what you mean by a "respectable wage", so we don't know what specific action you'd like Government or Parliament to take.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition asking for a higher minimum wage for care workers.
