What the petition asks
I've been living with Motor Neuron Disease (MND) for 12 years, I'm unable to use my arms and hands, and have muscle wastage round my neck, I can't wash, dress or feed myself, however, there is a possibility that one day I could be paralysed from the neck down, unable to talk or Swallow.
whilst I'm happy getting on with my life. If the time come when I was paralysed from the neck down, unable too talk or swallow, then I wouldn't want to continue living, and I think it's my right as an individual to have the opportunity to die with dignity helped by a doctor, it shouldn't be impossible for politicians to create legislation that gives me that right, but also protects the weak and vulnerable in society
