Stop single supplement payments on holidays.

What the petition asks
I am a widow and have been on several holidays on my own. I feel that it is very unfair that I have to pay extra for exactly the same holidays as couples and families partake in.
Over the past couple of years I have been to Llandudno, Bournemouth, Torquay in the UK and The Rhine Valley in Germany. Each holiday I have had to pay either £60 or £80 extra for travelling alone. I feel this is so unfair and discriminatory.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This is the responsibility of travel companies, not the UK Government or Parliament.
You could start a new petition asking Parliament to change the law, to make it illegal to charge a single supplement, if that's what you'd like to happen.
