The law to recognise our human rights and stop halal being sold on by stealth.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The law recognises the human rights and religious beliefs of Jews and Muslims and permits religious slaughter. However, the law disregards the human rights of the British people and those whose religions forbid the consumption of Halal or Kosher by allowing it to enter our food chain.
The law states religiously slaughtered meat "must be done in a way that follows Jewish and Islamic religious practice and that the meat must be intended for consumption by Jews or Muslims". The law and Terms and Conditions for abattoitr licenceing is being breached. Millions of animals, barbarically slaughtered means overproduction. It's unlawfully distributed into our food chain where it's not "intended" or "consumed by Jews or Muslims". Respect our human rights, stop
halal sold on by stealth.
