Stop discrimination against white British in jobs, housing & mortgages,

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Such discrimination is unacceptable for any other race, why is it acceptable against white British ? We are as entitled to equality as other groups, discrimination may undermine the opportunities of the most qualified, generate economic inefficiencies and prevent intake to career training
London Mayor is providing social houses for Muslims only. Banks are supplying interest free loans and mortgages for Muslims only. poetry and art competitions are advertised only for Black people. Police training stating non white intake closes that career opportunity in that area to white British.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

It is already against the law (the Equality Act 2010) to discriminate against someone because of their race. You can find out more here:

https://www.gov.uk/discrimination-your-rights/types-of-discrimination

You can see from this that the law protects people from discrimination at work, as consumers, and when using public services. We're therefore not sure what action you'd like the Government or Parliament to take.
