Urge the Chinese government to stop the annual Yulin Dog Eating Festival

What the petition asks

Thousands of dogs are annually tortured to death during the Yulin Dog Meat festival. They are skinned alive, boiled to death, beaten, burned and dismembered while still alive.
Yulin began in 2009; it is not tradition. Nor is there a valid comparison between the eating of beef or lamb and dog-meat.

Despite this the festival went ahead in 2017.
