What the petition asks

Cap land maintenance price increases at the same rate as inflation to stop large price increases (we had nearly 30% this year); require management fees to be fixed in contracts, to stop extra fees; and require invoices for extra charges to prove works are carried out and not to be excessive.

I live on an estate which has green areas owned by a company which charges home owners for maintaining this land. They charge for works with no proof of work being carried out. This year they raised the price by 29.4% per month raising the price by £53.18 a month, costing an extra £638.16 per year! The company do not carry out the agreed works properly and demand payments or legal action will be taken against home owners for non-payment. The company also do not deal with complaints efficiently.
