After runcorn bridge has had its renovations for it to be the only bridge free

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

The runcorn bridge has been a free bridge for decades now the new bridge has a £2 charge for a car and the tunnels both have £1.70 per car.
We've been made aware the runcorn bridge needs to be closed for a year before they can put a toll charge on it.
Please keep it a free bridge .
I travel weekly for work from north Wales and speak often to other workers from outside the Merseyside area for work and can't afford to pay these charges to get in and out of the city. It will made people avoid going to the city for the pleasure of shopping or days out as i know a few are worried about the charges when going for work so a day out won't be on the cards.
Please keep at least one way into Liverpool from north Wales and surrounding areas free

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
