Urge football associations to boycott the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

What the petition asks

The FIFA World Cup 2022 is to be held in Qatar. In preparing for the tournament, the state of Qatar has committed appalling human rights violations, as exposed by organisations including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International. The UK's national football teams cannot be allowed to compete.

Reports such as these illustrate the scale and shocking nature of human rights abuses sponsored by FIFA in Qatar. It would make a mockery of the UK's commitment to human rights and international law to turn a blind eye to such flagrant violations. It is time to say enough is enough: football and profits cannot trump humanity.
