To make it easier for grandparents to get parental Responsibility

What the petition asks

Fathers, same sex parents and step parents can get PR by downloading the form and taking it to the local court to be witnessed and signed and that’s it they have PR.
Grandparents have to get mediation and then apply to the family court for permission to apply for a residence order or special guardianship order which can all take months. How can this be right over 200,000 grandparents are bringing up one of more of their grandchildren. I realise children have to be protected and made safe but making it this hard for grandparents to get PR is not doing this.
