Closed 1,177 signatures

What the petition asks

During the first referendum the Scottish public were presented with a number of promises from the Westminster government in the case of a No vote. These promises have since either been broken or forgotten. As a direct result we the undersigned demand a second referendum on independence.
Broken Promises.
.We were told we would remain in the EU - Despite voting to stay we're leaving.
.Extensive new powers for the Scottish Parliament - Westminster wishes to now strip powers from Scotland.
.Continuation of the Barnett Formula - There are now talks of cutting Scotland's budget further.
.Work was promised for the shipyards - The amount promised has since decreased and possibly relocated also.
.Public Sector Jobs
.Social Security
.Renewables
All promised. Non delivered.
