Reinstate Our Daisy Bus The CCG did not share the Risk Assessement they made.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The Daisy bus is a vital free service that transports oncology patients from disembarkation points from the Isle of Wight Ferry to Southampton General Hospital and Queen Alexandra Hospital Portsmouth so they can access Oncology treatments.
Portsmouth one being axed Friday 10th November .
It is a scary thought that on 4th February 2015 Cancer Research Uk re evaluated their statement to say that one in two people will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives.

As a cancer patient I know how invaluable this service is especially when immunocomromised and travelling on public transport is a great risk

Many could not afford to access treatment without this bus as no financial help for the majority. Not free treatment for Islanders.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

This seems to be a decision taken by your local CCG, not the UK Government or Parliament.
