Petition · past parliament

Hold a General Election on grounds of no confidence in the current Government.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Since putting Party before Country & holding the snap-election earlier this year, the Conservative Government have shown themselves to be too weak & wobbly for the task of Governing.

They disrespect Parliament, democracy, each other and even worse: they disrespect the people they serve.
The Conservatives have put Party before County twice now; first with the EU Referendum, second with the snap-Election.

Since then they repeatedly avoid Opposition Day votes & haven’t released the Brexit Impact Papers after a bindng motion called for them to do so, thus disrespecting both Parliament & democracy.

May has shown she has no authority as PM:
List of 36 MPs alleged of sexual assault: no real action taken.
Priti Patel/Israel: no action taken.
Boris Johnson/Iran: no apology, no action.
