Make dyslexia a medical issue, part of medical training and funded by the NHS.

What the petition asks
Dyslexia is recognised under the Equality Act, and can hider students academically. Having access to free diagnosis for all medical conditions is a human right. If depression is a medical issue which is part of medical training and funded by the NHS I see no reason that dyslexia is not.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about the availability of support for people with dyslexia, but we're not sure exactly what you mean by "make dyslexia a medical issue".
In a response to another petition, the Government has said clearly that parents should not have to pay for a dyslexia test for their child. You can find out more here:
Make dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia testing free on the NHS.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
