What the petition asks

In light of the UK's forthcoming independence from the EU in 2019, it is essential that UK armed forces continue to be accountable only to the Crown. UK armed forces must not be subsumed into the EU Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO) under the control of the European Commission

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

That Parliament should not agree to the UK being part of an EU defence force.
