Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

British Citizen Jagtar’s lawyer has confirmed he has been tortured whilst on remand. The British Embassy & FCO have failed to intervene or attend any court hearings and failure to act will result in Jagtar’s continued torture, human rights violation & right to democratic justice
British citizen Jagtar was illegally abducted by plain clothed police in Punjab, India on 4th Nov & has been on remand since. He was only granted access to a lawyer after his 2nd court appearance on 10th Nov, who confirmed that Jagtar was tortured using 3rd degree methods such as electrocution & hyperextension of body parts. The British Embassy & FCO have failed to intervene. Failure to act will result in his continued torture & a likely forced confession from an innocent British citizen
