What the petition asks
The constant speeding through our village is appauling, there is currently a speed indicator device (SID) showing this village is 30MPH zone however, there is not adhered to in many cases.
I have spoken to a number of residents in the village of Arlesey who feel this needs to be put in place to prevent any further incidents occuring.
There have been a number of incidents when drivers who are doing to the maximum speed limit of 30MPH are overtaken on the wrong side of the road by drivers who appear to do not seem to care about road safety in our village.
