Early Prevented Services and Screening needed for Fathers Mental Health.

Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

Fathers have a history of mental illness and anxiety but are not screened like mothers for postnatal depression or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder when fathers witness loved ones trauma in the labor ward. There is no mention of the word "Fathers" either on CG192 Nice Guidelines.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about mental health services for fathers, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could ask the Government to provide mental health screening for all new fathers.
