Rejected

What the petition asks
We want UK Govt to require EU to produce its full accounts for entire period of UK membership prior to handing over a penny. Accounts to be independently verified in order to ascertain who owes who what & will enable an itemised bill to be produced either to EU or UK
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about any payment that the UK might make when it leaves the EU, but we're not sure exactly what action you'd like to see. In particular, we're not sure what you mean by "independently verified Accounts & itemised Bill". The European Court of Auditors audits the revenue and expenditure of the EU budget every year.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
