Too many rape victims have been let down by our justice system. They themselves are made to feel like it was their fault, or they were in the wrong.

Conviction rates for rape are far lower than other crimes, with only 5.7% of reported rape cases ending in a conviction for the perpetrator.
Correct training needs to be provided for police officers who investigate rape allegations, so these victims can be treated with respect, listened to and helped.
