Petition · past parliament

£50 Billion for NHS is available if HS2 is stopped. More taxpayers benefit!

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Hs2 will cost every taxpayer in the UK about £1500. A fully functional good NHS benefits more tax payers than the HS2 will especially in an ageing population. It is morally wrong to put HS2 before NHS. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. You could start a new petition asking the Government to cancel HS2 and reinvest any funding allocated to HS2 into the NHS.

If you'd like HS2 to be cancelled, you may wish to sign this petition instead:

Cancel HS2 immediately and repeal the 2013 and 2017 High Speed Rail Acts.
