What the petition asks
The bedroom tax has impacted on many poor people. Many elderly couples need the extra bedroom for a variety of reasons.
There are many reasons why the bedroom tax should be scrapped. These include a bedroom for their spouse due to one of the couple having a sleeping disorder, care givers, and for family to visit.
It is morally wrong to inflict a bedroom tax on couples who have more than one bedroom. This must be Scrapped.
