Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding will be a symbol of unity and cause for celebration. Currently the UK public are facing division and uncertainty with Brexit looming in 2019. We need something to bring everyone together, and a bank holiday to mark this occasion is the perfect opportunity.
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding date (April 29th 2011) was a bank holiday throughout the United Kingdom.
