Make the wedding of HRH Prince Henry of Wales and Meghan Markle a Bank Holiday

What the petition asks
In a time of pessimism and turmoil, we are asking of HM Government to give us one Christmas wish this year and grant the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan a national Bank Holiday.
Give us, the British Public, one day in 2018, where we can put aside our differences and share in one of the happiest moments in a couples life. In a world of increasing sadness and pain lets have some fun and be happy. We don't have a national day and these royal events are our chance to show some patriotism and love of our cherished Monarchy. As the old saying goes 'money isn't everything'.
