Call a bank holiday to celebrate the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

It’s been widely reported that Theresa May will not call for an extra bank holiday in 2018 to celebrate the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

This petition demands that a Bank holiday is created to allow the whole country to celebrate this important historical occasion together in 2018.
This will likely be the last royal wedding of such stature and importance to take place for two decades, and the last that an entire generation of UK citizens will live to enjoy.
