Teresa may to look into social services cases and parent being wrongly accused

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Family being wrongly accused of putting there kids at risk of future harm.. From one family, social services have taken 12 kids from one family. They are being wrongly accused by social services and they are trying to force adoption on 3 of the kids
Files on both cases, and pleanty of refrences

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

This isn't something that the UK Government or Parliament could do. Family law, including reviewing cases, is the responsibility of the courts, which are independent of the Government and Parliament.

If you want only parents to be able to consent to their children being adopted, you may wish to sign this petition instead: Stop forced adoption and make it illegal.

Social services are the responsibility of local councils. If you want to make a specific complaint about social services, or get more advice about what action you could take, this website may help you:
