What the petition asks

Two hero Army dogs which helped save thousands of lives on duty in Afghanistan are to be put down because they can't be re-homed, it has been reported.
Ex soldiers and dog handlers who worked with the Belgian Shepherds are said to have written to a Defence chief demanding the decision be reversed.
“This is such a cruel way to treat these animals that have given us so much.
“People who worked closely with these dogs are devastated at the plans — they’ve begged to save them all.
"Experienced handlers have come forward to say they want to house the much-loved dogs, who have helped save hundreds of lives.
In 2012, The Mirror reported how 807 of our much-loved military dogs had been destroyed by the Army over the past decade despite years of faithful service.
