Revamp the way that Home Office supports foreign entrepreneurs with Visas.

What the petition asks
Foreign entrepreneurs that meet the minimum qualifying criteria of (a) minimum capital investment and (b) employment of British citizens should have their visa renewals processed within the 8 week maximum timeframe. Britain should welcome and support foreign investment.
My personal experience as an entrepreneur: submitted application on 4 July 2017. As at 5 December 2017, my visa is still being processed - preventing me from travelling or spending time with my business & customers in other regions.
The Home Office requires a credit card payment to obtain an update on the status, and the update is simply "we can't help any further".
The UK really needs to think hard about how to best support and welcome entrepreneurs.

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what changes you'd like the Government to make to the way it supports foreign entrepreneurs with visas.
