What the petition asks
David Davis had given 800 pages of heavily redacted analysis to the Brexit committee, but has now admitted that these impact studies do not even exist.
We the undersigned urge parliament to raise a privilege complaint with the Speaker, as David Davis is in contempt of parliament.
We the undersigned urge parliament to raise a privilege complaint with the Speaker, as David Davis is in contempt of parliament.
A year ago David Davis said his department was "in the midst of carrying out about 57 sets of analyses" on different parts of the economy. He has now said the impact of Brexit on different sectors had not been assessed.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The resignation of a Minister would be an individual decision for that person, and not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole.
