What the petition asks
Antisocial behaviour involving youths has reached its peak in Greater Manchester. Milnrow, Newhey,Shaw and surrounding areas are particularly being targeted. Vandalism, egg throwing at small children and the vulnerable. Tram windows being broken, cars damaged and now robbing cash and cards at atms.
Please help us to reach 10,000 signatures to put an end to all this antisocial behaviour, theft and vandalism. Give GMP more powers to deal with these youths and the resources to do so.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for policing in Greater Manchester. This is the responsibility of the Mayor of Greater Manchester.
