Establish baseline health monitoring for communities less than 3km from fracking

Closed 195 signatures

What the petition asks

Public Health England state about fracking:

'Baseline environmental monitoring is needed to facilitate the assessment of the impact of shale gas extraction on the environment and public health.'

Baseline health monitoring is equally essential to protect community health. Yet absent.
What is a health baseline?
It measures existing illness and potential future illness. Your current baseline has been shaped by your medical, social and family history and is constantly being influenced by your environment.
Fracking has proven risk factors.
