Create a higher tax on meat

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

We all know that smoking causes serious medical conditions, now with more research we are learning that eating meat also carries some serious health conditions

With people eating less meat we can help save the environment, improve animal welfare and cut down costs to NHS

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government to do. For example, we're not sure how you'd like meat to be taxed or how much you think the tax should be.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. You'll need to give your full name to start a petition
