Mandatory signs on all disabled facilities - "Not all disabilities are visible"

Closed 39 signatures

What the petition asks

Since developing a chronic urinary disease, I have found myself needing to use disabled facilities often. However, due to not bearing any obvious or visible disability and only a hidden one, I have faced criticism and been confronted on many occasions as to why I am using such facilities.
Myself and thousands of other people who suffer from unseen disabilities are having to defend ourselves and on many occasions show proof as to why they need to use disabled facilities.
When I am in need to use the disabled loos, I have often been confronted by others. This is discrimination.

I am petitioning for all disabled facilities in the UK to bear mandatory signs reading "Not all disabilities are visible".
This is to aim to put a stop to such discrimination and prejudice.
