Remove David Davis as DexEU Minister for misconduct over the Brexit Assessments.

Rejected 16 signatures

What the petition asks

Mr David Davis has made many contradictory statements about the Brexit 'assessments'. The latest: they never existed. It has become a DexEU word game. He was let off by the Speaker; he should not be let off by the nation. As a Minister who has deceived Parliament, he should resign or be removed.
Mr Davis in Oct 2016: "We currently have in place an assessment of 51 sectors of the economy".
Dec 2016: "..our 57 studies cover 85% of the economy."
Feb 2017: “..I think it was 58 at the last count...”
Oct 2018: "...5000 pages...excruciating detail..".
Nov 2017: NO such assessments.
The country needs to know:
Did Mr Davis lie then or now?
Have there been any economic sectoral assessments by DexEU at all?
If not, why not?
Is DexEU concealing information?
The country needs to know.

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for MPs and Cabinet Ministers to be sacked.
