Ban private parking firms from operating within the NHS.

What the petition asks

I recently had to spend a lot of time visiting my ill mother in hospital. It opened my eyes to the fact so many people have huge worries regarding parking to see to their loved ones as the cost is so high. The worst bit about it is not a penny was going back into the hospital but to a private firm.
The gov website states:
Charges should be reasonable for the area.
Concessions, including free or reduced charges or caps, should be available for the following groups:
Disabled people
Frequent outpatient attenders
Visitors with relatives who are gravely ill, or carers of such people
Visitors to relatives who have an extended stay in hospital, or carers of such people
Carers of people in the above groups where appropriate.
My recent visits of £18 per day is certainly not within these guidelines.
