Acorn House run in partnership by D and G council and NHS. A vital respite facility for children with severe and complex learning difficulties. Currently ‘under review’ but parents concerned by what is thought to be a ‘done deal’ it is outlined for closure.
Scottish Government pushing Self Directed Support - which for many families is unsuitable.
