What the petition asks

King Kenny as he’s known to Liverpool Fans was a very successful
Player & later Manager.
Kenny and Marina his wife founded the The Marina Dalglish Appeal in 2004 to raise money to help treat cancer. A Centre for Oncology at Aintree Hospital was opened in 2007. The charity had raised £1.5million.
One of Liverpool’s most successful players & Managers. But there was a lot more to this quiet assuming Man .
Following the aftermath of the Hillsborough disaster. Kenny’s efforts has been described as "colossal and heroic".
At the Hillsborough Memorial Service on 15 April 2011 Steve Rotherham MP announced his intention to submit an Early Day Motion to have Kenny knighted, "not only for his outstanding playing and managerial career, but also the charity work he has done with his wife, Marina”.
