What the petition asks
Mandatory political education should be given to secondary school pupils and should include the main British political parties' stances on issues e.g the NHS, our voting systems and the mechanics of politics in the UK. Increase voter turnout - will create a fairer democracy.
It will increase voter turnout as it will provide UNBIASED information to all young people, some of whom may have difficulties accessing information alone. Will help young people's voices be heard in politics.
