For rail companies to offer part-time rail fare options for part-time workers.

What the petition asks
With the recent rail fare increases and improvements in smart card technology I am disappointed to see that there are no options for part-time workers to save on their season tickets.
This greatly disadvantages those with caring responsibilities particularly women and acts as a barrier to work.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This petition is calling on rail companies, not the UK Government or Parliament, to take action.
You could start a new petition asking the Government to require train companies to offer part-time season tickets, if that's what you would like to happen.
